Before you contact us

Many issues have a quick fix in the Troubleshooting guide — cards not appearing, permission prompts, interrupted offloads, full disks, and security warnings are all covered there. The FAQ answers common questions too.

We do our best to reply within two days. Your photos stay on your machine — please never send us your actual media files.

Where to find your version and logs

  • Version: shown in AutoOffload's About / settings screen.
  • Logs (local files — they never leave your machine until you send them):
    • macOS: ~/Library/Logs/AutoOffload/
    • Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\AutoOffload\Logs\
  • Per-offload records: each run also writes a CSV manifest and an HTML report inside a hidden _autooffload folder next to your copied files. Attaching the relevant report helps us see exactly what happened on that run.

Attaching your logs (and a screenshot of the error) to the bug report above lets us diagnose most issues without any back-and-forth.
